We've had a very adventurous February.

Almost a whole month Tirtha yatra in South India,....

Kolkata to Trichurapally to Madhurai, to Srirangam to Rameshwaram to Chennai to Kurnool to Ahobilam to Tirupati.

My wife in Ahobilam climbed the Narsimha Stambha in her flipflops.

Whereas I with bandaged feet managed to climb half way to base camp.

In Karnool we joined a group of 10 devotee friends , and performed Kirtan for the 2 day grand wedding celebrations of the daughter of a senior minister of Andhra Pradesh.

I think there were about 5000 guests.

HpS - 💥 Maya does not like that!

Whilst relieved to be back in

Sridham Mayapur,

I had to dive straight back into my seva...

As the chairman of the board for the joint masterplan for Mayapur Institute,

Mayapur Academy and the

Kirtan Academy....whilst tempted to resign...almost every day 😊, I have

not yet succeeded...letters of Srila Prabhupada to his disciples, very patiently teaching the very basics of almost everything , shows me what it really means to be comitted to serving ones own Guru,

...so I think with your blessings, I will continue...for now.

My wife also resumed her regular seva at

Srila Prabhupadas Bhajan Kutir and At

Radha Madhavas deity department, along with

daily distribution of Narsimha Devs maha Kheer Prasad.

By your mercy

I received my Bhakti Vaibhava on 9th March, and

will now attempt a 4 years, Bhakti Vedanta course.

I also hope to

complete Teachers training in May and then

Start to teach at the Mayapur Institute.

With all the celebrations over ...atleast.for now...

There is now possibility of attending Mangal Arti in a normal manner.

Summertime for many is the time to escape the heat....

but for us it offers an opportunity to try and perform our sadhana more deeply.

Dear Guru Maharaj, we pray for your good health.

[3/29] Traveling Contractor - Hare Krishna, Maharaja and Prabhus! Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to you all.

My family and friends decided to throw a party to celebrate my 90th birthday over my objection. 

I was able to get hold of a jeweler to make the ornaments for Lord Narasimha Deva for our Houston Temple. On Tuesday we were able to get the metal cantilevered frame for both the small altars and yesterday purchased the teak wood needed for the work.

The workers won't start work until Monday because of the holidays culminating on the Easter day.

With the heat index, every day temperature is around 108 degrees or more. So, getting out of the house is almost impossible

I am pranjal (brahmchari) from ISKCON NEWTOWN, Kolkata. I serve in ISKCON YOUTH FORUM at Bhaktivedanta Research Center and conduct sessions for youth in JADAVPUR UNIVERSTIY.

In weekends I am conducting Ramayana Course for children.

I got your darshan when you visited here . Since then I am periodically following the blog and kapi dhwaj. I am deeply inspired by the content.

I intend to become regular reader Nectar of Instruction with help of TPP book. As advised in the book I aspire to complete the study each fortnight and in this way go through it around 25 times from this gaur purnima to next. I seek your blessings for fulfiling this aspiration.

I was trying to avoid writing to you, but I was always having constant concern about your instructions and other things by you.

Again as I mentioned my four rules are intact however full morning program or reading is not that much there.

Though I hear other vaisnavas of other sampraday.

I do find myself little purposeless or perplexed about my relationship / association with the current/future ISKCON.

It seems to be very doubtful.

I don't know in what levels and what capacity to associate with them and neither I am finding any one close to your your ideas or even your perspective.

I know all this confusion will go away when I will chant properly and the holy names will talk to me.

However, I don't know when that moment will come . And there is fear of me not associating with anyone from ISKCON once you leave this mortal world.

I do not know how I will I contribute to ISKCON accept for simple chanting and reading and basic non violent or non aggressive behaviour which I had that's all I can say .

I feel solace with you only. I am not qualified or sincere for your concessions given to me. spiritual rituals make sense when you are some how associated.

These days I get up before sun rise and hear metal rock with beats , which gets me started.

My story might be same, hence not writing much.

American B'cari in New York 1971, rather leader in Temple administration, Sankirtan, wrote to Srila Prabhupada, "SP I cannot stop thinking about illicit sex!!"

Srila P answered, "Yes, because of the birth you have taken you will not be able to stop thinking about illicit sex in this lifetime, but if you follow me you will be able to tolerate it!"

Also heard, saw SP say, sometimes I think about my former activities with my wife, That is natural.

But I don't go back.

That is intelligence.

Did you see our message to the Houston Cine Development Group?

I talked with Abhaya about a week ago and he said that Saranga was busy with 16,108 festival projets but he would talk with him.

Of course, we want to develop this work either in Texas or Tennessee etc. and hope that we can get your mercy in the work.

We have a very active worker coming to settle here 3rd of April. Sri Hari Das, retiring as Dean of Engineering at big Indian University.

Even before that we can start looking at certificates in motion picture design at the local university.
