All glories to Srila Prabhupada

Thanks to your instructions and your mercy towards me, I have been able to follow my sadhana by getting up at 4.00, little MA and chanting my japa early in the morning.

After making friends with some people I have met in sankirtan at Cabildo, I invited them to a devotional program that I started with my sister.

We meet on Tuesdays. We started with a Bhagavad Gita talk, then a short kirtan, prasadam and chatting to strengthen the bonds.

A question Gurudeva: Is Krishna's manifestation of the lilas in Vrindavan the same as that found in Goloka Vrindavan in the spiritual world?

hps/asa - goloka is in spiritual world. gokula in bhauma lila, manifest in material world. little different. in gokula there are demons, but in goloka there are only rumors of demons. like the italian embassy in chile and the national government in rome.

that is what we understand.

As I understand it, it is an expansion of Krishna, since Krishna does not leave his planet. Or is it Krishna himself who descends?

Guru Maharaja, I am Rupa Manjari Devi Dasi, your most fallen disciple, from Silchar, Assam, India. I am married to Nandalal Singha, he is a military man, serving in the Indian army. He is not yet initiated but following four regulative principles, chanting 16 rounds daily, eating Mahaprasad and attending Mangala Arati every day.

We are under the guidance of HH Bhakti Ananda Haridasa Goswami. I have a son name Srivas Singha. My husband is posted at Nadia, West Bengal. We all are living together in a government married couples’ accommodation there which is not far from Mayapur.

HpS - Previous good works are fuctifying.

Dear Guru Maharaja, now, I am chanting 16 rounds in the morning. Most of the times I complete 16 rounds in the morning, but sometimes it goes to the evening. I read Srimad Bhagavatam, Bhagavad-gita and Krishna Book in the morning. It is convenient for me to read in the morning. As a grihastha, I am quite busy in the evening. Is it ok to read those books in the morning, Guru Maharaja?

HpS - Yes. Read a little in the evening. Eg. One page of KRSNA book even.

I also attend chanting sessions, classes of HH Bhakti Ananda Haridasa Goswami and online lectures of other esteemed devotees.

Even if I don’t know good English, I will start attending your online classes, Guru Maharaja. This is first time I am writing to you Guru Maharaja. And for the first time I have sent disciple report also this year. I am very weak in English Guru Maharaja. This letter also, I am writing by taking help from other devotees.

Even if my writings are not proper, please accept it considering me a stupid and foolish servant. So many things I want to ask and share with you, but because of my lack of good English, computer knowledge, fear and shyness, I find many difficulties. I have been always asked by Manjuali Devi Dasi to write to you. She is my uncle’s daughter and I am like her older sister. Even if I don’t write regularly, please always have some mercy upon me. I took initiation from you Guru Maharaja in the year 2017 at Manjuali Devi Dasi’s house at Kaptanpur, Silchar, Assam along with HG Chaitanya Dharma Das (Chengiskhan Singha) and HG Indrani Devi Dasi by the recommendation of HH BA Haridasa Maharaja; but, my name is not appeared in your disciples’ record list in www.jayarama.us.kd/guru-tattva.txt.

Guru Maharaja, I am a fallen servant. Please give me blessings so that I be able serve you nicely.

Hello Gurudev, I have wanted (and must) write to you for a long, long time to give you a small report of sadhana and service.

Sadhana good. (because of your mercy).

Distribution of books by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. In April fully dedicated. (around 500 books). Argentina is in a great economic crisis, it complicates things a bit. But equally everything flows through the mercy of you and Srila Prabhupada.

Online preaching programs:

* "Bhagavad Gita as a family": every day reading of 1 verse of the Bhagavad Gita with comments from a devotee. Several devoted speakers. Around 250 people receive the audios via WhatsApp (I assume approximately 50 listen).

* Weekly “Bhagavad Gita with family” Zoom program for more personal contact. With the people.

* Daily program “The daily drop of Srimad Bhagavatam”: sharing a 15-minute reading of Srimad Bhagavatam via WhatsApp. Let's go for the song 1 chapter 8. It is also shared on YouTube and Telegram.

*"Sankirtana ki jay" program to cultivate new book distributors: together with a devotee from Buenos Aires (bhakta Gustavo) we are going to start a program to try to motivate new people to distribute books.

I am (finally) finishing Bhakti Sastri (it took me a long time)… I have already started Bhakti Vaibhava.

Attending mangala Arati at the local “Radha-Krsna mandir” (Wednesday and Sunday).

Personal life:

I wanted to tell you Gurudev that I feel better.

I am beginning to desire devotional service and not personal satisfaction. I just read the story of Pingala (from canto 11), I find it very instructive. We must abandon material desires. That “hope” causes us distress and anxiety. Pingala became frustrated by waiting, waiting, waiting, and realized that “not waiting” gave him happiness… detachment…

A question Gurudev: Should we go through the experience of frustration to truly learn (internal certainty), or can we become detached just by hearing that material life has no true substance?

Please Gurudev, give me your blessings to eradicate all hope of being happy in this world through worldly enjoyment (friendship, society, love, family, sex, prestige)... Param drstva nivartate.

I was always waiting for something to happen in this world so I could be happy. I don't want this mentality anymore. Lately I'm more resigned, but not completely... boo. I must continue to move forward… by your mercy and that of Srila Prabhupada.

Thank you for everything Gurudev, for your presence every day in Gotometing, for having accepted me as your disciple (aspirant) despite how impure I am, and for being who you are. I am proud that you are my guide, I admire you and I love you very much. I hope to see you soon.

HpS - The USA government was charging us $1500 for medical insurance, and we had to pass through 2-hours of calls and waiting until it seems to be resolved. It happened because Texas stopped paying our bills and Tennessee took over!

Then we looked at our credit card bill and the charge that had been pending for the trip to Spain was not completed or pending! We tried to contact the travel agent, Iberia... and could only deal with robots. They all say we had the ticket and even a receipt for payment.

Then we used the little app for the travel agent on our phone and got a chat with Jose De Jesus and he says that as far as he could see the charge was rejected by the credit card, even though we were using it for other charges.

So we don't know if we even have a ticket to Spain and five more devotees are buy tickets to see us there.

Ha Ha Hare.

Your Sankirtan etc. sounds like you are on the right path. Just try to improve it even daily. Try to do your own individual, eternal work, service to Krsna and Srila Prabhupada, and try to develop Sankirtan relations to others, institutionally and friendly. Play you instrument in the orchestra, but try to harmonize, inspire, others in their parts.

Hola Gurudev, hace mucho mucho tiempo que quiero (y debo) escribirte para pasarte un pequeño reporte de sadhana y servicio.

Sadhana bien. (por tu misericordia).

Distribución de libros de Su Divina Gracia Srila Prabhupada. En abril plenamente dedicado. (alrededor de 500 libros). Argentina está en una gran crisis económica, complica un poco las cosas. Pero igualmente todo fluye por misericordia tuya y de Srila Prabhupada.

Programas de prédica online:

* Bhagavad Gita en familia: todos los días lectura de 1 verso del Bhagavad Gita con comentarios de un devoto/a. Varios devotos oradores. Reciben los audios por WhatsApp alrededor de 250 personas (supongo que escuchan 50 aproximadamente).

* Programa semanal por Zoom de “Bhagavad Gita en familia” para más contacto personal. Con las personas.

* Programa diario “La gota diaria del Srimad Bhagavatam”: compartiendo por whatsApp lectura de 15 minutos del Srimad Bhagavatam. Vamos por el canto 1 capítulo 8. También se comparte por Youtube y Telegram.

*Programa "Sankirtana ki jay" para cultivo de nuevos distribuidores de libros: junto con un devoto de Buenos Aires vamos a empezar un programa para tratar de motivar a nuevas personas para distribuir libros.

Estoy (por fin) terminando el Bhakti Sastri (me demoré muchoooo)… Ya empecé el Bhakti Vaibhava…

Concurriendo a mangala Arati en el “Radha- Krsna mandir” local (miercoles y domingo).

Vida personal:

Quería contarte Gurudev que me siento mejor. Estoy empezando a desear servicio devocional y no satisfacción personal.

Recien leí la historia de Pingala (del canto 11), me parece muy instructiva. 

Debemos abandonar los deseos materiales. Esa “esperanza” nos causa aflicción y ansiedad. Pingala se frustro por esperar, esperar, esperar, y se dio cuenta que el hecho de “no esperar” le daba felicidad… desapego… 

Una pregunta Gurudev: 

¿Debemos pasar por la experiencia de frustración para aprender de verdad (internamente certeza), o podemos desapegarnos solo por oír que la vida material no tiene verdadera sustancia? 

Por favor Gurudev, dame tus bendiciones para extirpar toda esperanza de ser feliz en este mundo a través del disfrute mundano (amistad, sociedad, amor, familia, sexo, prestigio)… 

Param drstva nivartate. Siempre estuve esperando que pase algo en este mundo para poder ser feliz. Ya no quiero esta mentalidad.

Ultimamente ya estoy mas resignado, pero no del todo… buuuuu. Debo seguir avanzando… por tu misericordia y la de Srila Prabhupada.

Gracias por todo Gurudev, por tu presencia todos los días en Gotometing, por haberme aceptado como tu discípulo (aspirante) a pesear de lo impuro que soy, y por ser como eres. Estoy orgulloso de que seas mi guía, te admiro y te quiero mucho.

Hare Krisna Gurudev: Pamho. TgSP y sus seguidores fieles.

Estamos felices ante la posibilidad de que pueda volver a España; eso significa que su salud es "aceptable". Estaremos muy contentos de poder hacer algún servicio para que su estancia sea agradable. También, si viene en periodo universitario y quiere, podríamos mirar algo con Mónica (directora del Dpto de Antropología de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Nosotros seguimos con nuestra rutina tratando de volvernos buenos devotos: Cuidando alma, mente y cuerpo. Sat Sanga y alguna visita esporádica al templo de Madrid y NVM.

También estamos estudiando BVB con el profesor Yadunandana Maharaja. Ya hemos terminado los dos primeros cantos y estamos en el tercero. Es muy buena la asociación y las perspectivas que salen en un grupo heterogéneo de unos 18 y un profesor altamente cualificado. Estamos felices por esta facilidad que nos da Krsna.

Esperando se encuentre entusiasta en su servicio y también sus bendiciones para que podamos seguir avanzando en el camino de vuelta a casa, se despide

We are happy at the possibility that he (HpSwami, Monkey/Piggy) can return to Spain; That means his health is "fair." We will be very happy to provide any service to make your stay pleasant. We continue with our routine trying to become good devotees: Taking care of soul, mind and body. Sat Sanga and some sporadic visits to the Madrid temple and NVM.

We are also studying BVB with Professor Yadunandana Maharaja. We have already finished the first two Cantos and we are on the third. The association and perspectives that emerge in a heterogeneous group of about 18 and a highly qualified teacher are very good. We are happy for this facility that Krsna gives us.

HpS - Vrndavana Das Thakura said that his only desire was to study Srimad Bhagavatam life after life with Lord Nityananda as his teacher.

Some else we know is also in the group!!??

However, you are very much self dependent. Subhadra wants us to move to Nashville area to fulfill your desire to develop NIOS campus. NGD Prabhu ji and devotees here are already very dedicated and fired up.

It is going to be a wonderful project.

Maharaja you are planning to visit Madrid and India between Sept 10 to Dec 10 and return to Boro.

We pray to Lord Krishna to have you longer so that we may develop the project when you are present on the planet.

HpS - It has, agtSP, been wonderful sharing Asrama space with you during las week. Very wonderful. You all are wonderful workers, and I feel that we are doing so much work on making a common vision of NIOS and any Campus, and implementing so many practical things already.

Just bought the JFK/Madrid/JFK ticket, but no, no, no, plan to got to India during our stay in Spain, but is possible, possible, possible if practical!
